Hostess Club -Jewel of the Month

I started a Hostess Club in Sept. 2008 after hearing this idea from another consultant. I thought it would be a great way to thank my hostesses on a monthly basis throughout the year for doing business with me! It has been really fun and I think they appreciate the savings!

Here is how I set it up:
I send out a monthly email on the 1st of each month to all my former hostesses. It includes photographs of at least one item I'm offering the former hostesses at a 25% discount. I tell them they may purchase a maximum of two of these items at the discounted price. I include the retail price and the discounted price so they can see the savings. I also explain why they are members and thank them in the email for their business. I also remind them that they're membership continues until one year past their most recent party date and that I'll let them know when they are close to their anniversary date so they can book another party to continue their membership! Sometimes, I offer more than one item if it's around a holiday or offer free giftwrap or some other bonus.
At each party, I announce very briefly near the end of the evening that the hostess today will now be automatically enrolled in my Jewel of the Month/Hostess Club and what that means to the hostess.
I send a reminder about a month from their annual renewal date and help them find a good party date so we can renew their membership and get some more FREE jewelry for them!
This is my way of showing appreciation to my hostesses! I really do appreciate how gracious and welcoming they are to open their homes to us for a night/day!
This program has been successful for me, as I generally have at least 1-2 former hostesses who take advantage of the special. I'm so happy to extend the offer to them in gratitude and they are delighted to be entitled to such a great discount!
