Handcrafted Where?

Where is Aurastella jewelry made?

You'll see noted in our Aurastella Catalog in several places that our sterling silver jewelry is all hand-crafted by Artisans all over the world- wow! That's sounds alluring, doesn't it? Well, what I wanted to know right away was ...well, where? Some countries sound more exotic and lend themselves more to specfic styles than others; I mean I don't know if I'd think jewelry hand-crafted in Kazakhstan sounds as appealing as jewelry made in Bali right?

So, I went about trying to find out more about our Artisans and where they are located. It was not difficult - I went straight to the source! Kathy Anish, the founder of Aurastella was happy to share these things with me. I asked about specific pieces and where they were crafted. Here were my questions:
1. In general- What are the main countries the artisans are from- Bali, Israel, India, Italy and Peru.
2. Where do the beautiful Opal pieces come from? Israel
3. The amber pieces (in our 2008 catalog on page 41)-where are they made? India
4. The Sea Qu
arry necklace/earrings-where are they made? Israel
5. The French Coins/necklace/earrings - where are these crafted? India

Bali is one of those places I dream of visiting....Here are a few photos of this beautiful place:
If you happen to be looking through the catalog, wondering where a piece is crafted, please feel free to inquire and I will share what I know or find it for you!
